New Orleans has many cool places to hang out. This time I chose The Spotted Cat Music Club to go. I went there on Thursday night. The weather was nice, the night was warm and inviting to take off the stress and grab some good drinks, also to appreciate the amazing and unique jazz, that is innato of New Orleans.

Without further delay, I am going to describe the place and my experience there.  The Spotted Cat Music Club is located on Frenchmen Street. This street is famous for its bars, restaurants, and music shows. Here I go. Standing in front of The Spotted Cat Music Club, I see the building is sort of old, not too big, and wood made with two floors. The roof is made with tiles that I believe to be pretty old. The second floor looks like a family residence. The bar is on the first floor. There are two large windows with many brittle square class. Between the windows there is a slender door. The building is colored with brown dye.

Going through the door, I realize that the bar is exactly as I thought, it’s not too big, and it’s really cozy. I had a seat even near the door. In the back there are two restrooms. The left back side thre is a bar; this is the most crowded part of bar. The left front side of the bar there is a band composed with four musicians, one was playing the drums, the other two was playing the guitar and the last one is a woman, the singer. They were playing an enthusiastic, happy jazz. They look glad doing it. I realize they will not be paid for their job, and they only get tips from costumers. The wall behind the band is colored and there are some spotted cats printed on it. The paintings are funny and lovely.

The other side of the bar, the back right side there are some black tables and chairs. This spot is a bit darker. The light there is yellow. There are some guys drinking beer and talking. To me this side seems like the perfect place to flirt.  The front right side, my side, it is in front of the band. The guys here are appreciating the show and dancing, or trying to dance. The ceiling has an old fashioned fan that gave the place a perfect style.

To summarize, I had a really good time there. The place is interesting. It has good drinks, good music, and some arts spread to the walls. The bar is also cheap and there is easy access to go to. If you choose check it out. You certainly will not regret it. I Absolutely recommend it.
